STRIKE
... it would be like wanting to take a step, but your leg wouldn’t move.
Or trying to lift a cup to drink tea, but your hand wouldn’t lift the cup, wouldn’t bring it to your mouth, your mouth wouldn’t open, and your hand wouldn’t tilt the cup to pour the liquid into your mouth.
Have you ever truly thought about that?
We take our bodies for granted. We rarely care how they’re doing... as long as we can go about our lives and do what we want.
But our bodies are truly incredible beings with their own needs, like enough sleep and rest, fresh air, movement, laughter, quality food, a comfortable bed/chair/couch, and well-fitting shoes and clothes.
Yet, we don’t hear them, let alone listen to them.
And what happens as a result?
The body gets sick. It gets injured. It develops problems or pains. It tries to communicate with us in every possible way, but we stubbornly keep pushing through, ignoring its messages, and doing things our own way.

Here are some questions that help me in this area:
What can I choose to listen to my body more closely?
What can I choose differently to allow myself to hear my body’s desires?
What can I do differently to create the space and possibilities to hear my body’s whispers?
What can I change, let go of, or add to stop judging myself for not hearing my body?
And then, I thank my body and express gratitude for the miracles we create together.
